Prohibited contact times/methods
- Calls before 8 AM or after 9 PM your local time
- Calls to your workplace if told not to
- Contact after written cease-and-desist
- Contacting third parties (other than to locate you)
Prohibited conduct
- Threats of violence, arrest, or legal action they don't intend to take
- Claiming to be attorneys or government representatives
- Obscene or profane language
- Publishing your name on a "bad debt" list
- Collecting more than the legally permitted amount
